About Duncan

Duncan is the Regional Lead of Shirley Parsons Australia and New Zealand and has over 16 years’ experience working in careers and recruitment.

First joining Shirley Parsons UK in 2009 as a Careers Consultant, he was quickly promoted to Managing Consultant and Divisional Manager and went on to help set up the Executive Search function of the business.

Duncan started out working in professional services and supporting consultancies, banks, retail, and FM providers before relocating to New Zealand in 2017, where he now works on opportunities across all industry sectors and levels.

A devoted family man with three daughters, Duncan’s passion is sport and spending his downtime outside running, biking, playing musical instruments or at the beach.

Health and Safety Advisor (6-month FTC) Auckland CBD Fixed Term Contract Are you interested in working for a top tier contractor on high profile project in central Auckland? We have an exciting new opportunity with one of New Zealand's leading construction firms. We are seeking a site-based Health and Safety Advisor who can be proactive and visible on the project. Your collaboration and engagement skills will need to be on point as you'll work closely with over 300+ sub-contractors. Suitable candidates will need a proven background within construction (preferably fit-out or commercial) and available for a fairly immediate start.
