We are currently partnering with a large scale Food and Agribusiness who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their Manufacturing facility in Wundowie, near Perth. This is a site based position and would suit a candidate with prior Health and Safety experience, ideally in a manufacturing or relatable sector.
The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Ensuring management of risk for the site and developing and implementing site specific HSE Management plans
- Leading accident and incident investigations on site and providing HSE training to site staff
- Identifying Health and Safety challenges for the site and implementing necessary initiatives in line with legislative requirements
The Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- 2+ years experience in a Health and Safety role, within a relatable sector such as manufacturing, logistics & distribution or similar
- Relevant Health and Safety qualification such as the Cert IV in H&S or a H&S Diploma/Degree
- Ability to work autonomously on site with wider input from the group Health and Safety Team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and staff on site and externally
